Women's charitable hospital to reopen in Dagestan

The women's charitable hospital will soon again receive patients. Its head Aishat Magomedova has noted that after deployment of furniture and equipment the hospital will start its work at a new address.

"Under Order of the Government of Dagestan No. 297-r of November 30, 2009, the hospital was granted new premises at No. 16 Beibulatova Street in Makhachkala: 20 rooms in the ground floor with total area of 553 square meters," Ms Magomedova told the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent.

Zakaria Azizov, deputy minister for managing state property of Dagestan, told about interaction with the new medical institution.

"The rooms are vested to the hospital on the right of gratuitous use for the period of 5 years. A longer term is not envisioned by the law, but the contract can be extended. The hospital was repaired and received a permit from the sanitary authority; trucks were given for transporting the equipment. We have prepared a contract, but Aishat Magomedova is on a sick-leave, therefore, signing of the document is delayed," said the official.

In her turn, Ms Magomedova has stated that there is no sanction of the sanitary authority, since the building of the hospital has no laundry, kitchen and a room for a bakery, although the works are underway to build them. She has also noted that her medical institution has no transport, against the authorities' promise, to move to a new location.

"Our activity was licensed; now, we need to update all the documents," she said and added that it will take quite a lot of time.
