FSB: liquidated residents of Ingushetia planned to commit terror acts

The militants liquidated in a special operation in Ingushetia were members of the "Surkhakhi bandit grouping", which planned to commit a series of terror acts in the territory of the republic. This was reported by the PR group of the Department of the FSB for Ingushetia.

Let us remind you that yesterday, on March 23, in Surkhakhi village, Nazran District, a skirmish burst out between power agents and a group of suspected militants, a house was blocked, and the counterterrorist operation (CTO) regime was introduced. In the course of a special operation three MIA agents were wounded and three suspected militants were liquidated.

The ITAR-TASS reports with reference to the FSB Department that the liquidated militants had planned terror acts against power officials and law enforcers in the Sunzha and Nazran Districts of Ingushetia.

Power agents found plenty if firearms and ammunition in the place of the skirmish, also: three Kalashnikovs, an RGD-5 grenade and 240 cartridges, the "Gazeta.Ru" writes.

The RBC adds that the casualties are being identified.
