Militaries shelled at Chechen-Ingush border

As reported by the spokesman of the Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA) of Ingushetia, seven servicemen were wounded, when a column of Internal Troops were shelled on the Chechen-Ingush border.

According to the latest data, there are no casualties; five of the victims are in grave conditions, the RIA "Novosti" quotes another MIA source.

"Soldiers of Internal Troops were conducting special operations aimed at detecting and liquidating militants on Chechen-Ingush administrative border. Under preliminary data, after they left the area, they got into an ambush, organized by militants," said Yunus-Bek Evkurov, the Ingush leader. He added that because of the dark time of the day the search actions were suspended, the "Interfax" reports.
