A note of local officials’ corruption found in a car of a policeman who shot himself down in Krasnodar region

The death of a police major, Chief of Soviet settlement police department of the Ministry of Interior Affairs in Novokubansky district, is under investigation in Krasnodar region. The investigators initiated a criminal case on the fact of incitement of the policeman to a suicide. A note of the officials’ corruption was found in his car. This was reported by regional Investigative Department of Committee of Inquiry of the Russian Federation. 

The policeman’s body was found in his car on August, 30. According to the investigation’s version, the deceased had been working in law enforcement bodies since 2000 and had the right of carrying Government-issue weapon.

On August, 29, the policeman was in his office when Chief of regional department called him to come. The officer went to the town of Novokubabsk in his “Lada Kalina” car but did not arrive at the point of destination. He was searched for and found dead on August, 30, not far from the homestead of Radishevo, “Interfax” reports.

A note was found in his car in which the officer calls “a number of officials and the first persons of the region corruptionists” adding that “Chief of district police knew nothing about it”, RIA “Novosti” reports.
