Ingushetia: residents of Ekazhevo hold gathering in context with Ali Dobriev's detention
Today, the rural settlement of Ekazhevo, Nazran District of Ingushetia, hosts an extraordinary gathering of villagers in protest against detention on September 18 of Ali Dobriev, Senior Assistant of the Sunzha District Prosecutor, on suspicion of organizing an illegal armed formation (IAF) and preparing a terror act.
According to investigators, in 2010, Ali Dobriev formed an IAF in the Nazran District of the republic and planned a terror act at his work.
The rally of Dobriev's fellow villagers, attended by 360 persons, was held in the House of Culture of the Nazran District. However, there were no detainee's relatives at the rally.
"They're just embarrassed for Ali," Magomed Idriev, head of the rural settlement of Ekazhevo, explained the absence of Dobriev's relatives at the rally.
At the same time, according to his story, Dobriev's fellow villagers believe that his guilt must be proved in the way, prescribed by the law. The audience expressed their common readiness to inspectors in establishing the truth.
