Georgia: students demand to protect rights of veterans' children

On June 15, an initiative group of students held a protest action near the Ministry of Defence (MoD) demanding to protect the rights of veterans' children, namely, free education and better social conditions.

According to the members of the initiative group, should their demands be neglected, they will go on with the action until "this government changes."

The securities did not let several dozens of protesters into the territory of the MoD, the "Georgia Online" reports.

The students have scheduled the next action in defence of the rights of veterans, refugees and people with limited capabilities for June 18 in front of the Parliament, the "Echo of the Caucasus" reports.
