Ingushetia holds funerals of policemen killed by suicide bomber

The funerals of the policemen killed on 19 August in Malgobek by a suicide bomber are conducted under tight supervision of law enforcers; no incidents were observed, said the spokesman of the Ingush MIA. According to latest data, August 22 was announced the day of mourning in the republic.

On August 19, in Malgobek, at the household, where the funeral was held of the district policeman killed a day before, an explosion was triggered by a suicide bomber. As a result, eight people, including the bomber, were killed and 15 more were wounded.

"Yesterday, as you know, in a terror act, seven our colleagues were killed; some of them were buried in the same day, others will be buried today. All these events are held under close supervision and tight guard of our employees," said a source from the MIA of Ingushetia.

According to his story, during the mourning events on August 19 and 20, no incidents and emergencies were reported.

All the law enforcement bodies of Ingushetia are switched into high alert regime, the RIA "Novosti" reports.
