Man, accused of Yuri Budanov's murder, to remain in custody till December 10

Today, the Moscow City Court granted the motion of investigators and extended the arrest of Yusup-Khadji Temerkhanov, accused of murdering ex-Colonel Yuri Budanov, until December 10.

While justifying the motion, the investigator reported that the conditions for altering the pre-trial restriction measure to Yusup-Khadji Temekrhanov had no changed.

The investigator has stressed that Yusup-Khadji Temerkhanov is accused of particularly serious crime, and, since he does not work or study, there are reasons to think that the defendant can flee.

According to the Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA), Yusup-Khadji Temerkhanov, accused of murdering Yuri Budanov, on August 22 was brought to the Moscow City Court. He refused to surrender to the search, and policemen had to use force against him. The lawyer of Yusup-Khadji Temerkhanov claimed that his client had been severely beaten.

Today, the judge announced the results of the medical examination of the defendant. Doctors have noted that Yusup-Khadji Temerkhanov got injuries of soft tissues of his lumbus and head. According to them, the injuries will not prevent the trial, the "RAPSI" (Russian Agency of Legal and Judicial Information) reports.

Murad Musaev, the defendant's lawyer, intends to request consideration of the case by the jury, the "Interfax" reports.
