All four victims of flooding in Novomikhailovsky village identified

All four persons, perished in the flooding of the village of Novomikhailovsky of the Tuapse District of the Krasnodar Territory have been identified. This was reported today by the Southern Regional Centre of the Russian Ministry for Emergencies (MfE).

Three victims of the flooding have been identified: a 46-year-old resident of Krasnodar, a 44-year-old female resident of Saint Petersburg, and a local woman, born in 1928. This was reported by the official website of the MfE. Information about the fourth victim has not been disclosed yet.

In the villages of Lermontovo and Novomikhailovsky, 760 persons remain without power supply. Today, Dmitry Romeiko, Director for Special Orders of the "Interregional Distribution Network Company", who arrived in the Tuapse District, stated that till the end of the day of August 24, the village of Novomikhailovsky would be completely connected to the power supply in accordance with the time scheme.

According to Dmitry Romeiko, "in three days, the village will be connected to continuous power supply." Assessing the progress of the repair activities, Dmitry Romeiko reported that 90 percent of the networks for ten kilovolts have been already restored, and repairs of faulty transformer substations is being completed, the RIA "Novosti" reports.
