State of persons, wounded by explosion in Ingushetia and hospitalized in Moscow, remains grave but stable

Two officers of the battalion of the patrol-and-post service, wounded in a terror act in Ingushetia, are at resuscitation ward, the other victims are at the trauma and surgical departments of the Chief Clinical Hospital of the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA) in Moscow. Their condition, given the gravity of their numerous wound, is serious but stable. This was stated by Medical Colonel Alexander Panevin, the deputy head of the hospital on medical care.

The Il-76 aircraft of the Russian Ministry for Emergencies (MfE), which delivered seven victims of the terror act and a 12-year-old Zalina Arsanova, who was wounded on August 18, brought to Moscow Makka Arsanova, Zalina's mother, and relatives of victims Sali Tsoroev and Sulumbek Velkhiev.

According to the girl's mother, Zalina slowly comes to life. "She got a wound in her stomach, and, therefore, my daughter can eat only the meal, prepared in the hospital. Doctors conduct intravenous therapy all the time. She is still very weak," - says Mack Arsanov.

According to surgeon Asya Akhilgova, who operated the girl in the Malgobek District Hospital, Zalina was wounded by a bullet of 5.45 calibre that weighted off centre. "That is why there is so much damage in her gut, and we had to make a resection," the doctor has stressed.

Makka Arsanova said that when an unidentified criminal opened fire from a submachine gun to Ilez Korigov, the girl pushed her 6-year-old brothers Alikhan, who stood in front of her. "My son fell down, and Zalina was wounded by a bullet," the girl's mother says.
