Condition of victim of bomb explosion in Ingushetia is grave

At 12:10 a.m. Moscow time, near the "Fabrichny Marketplace" in the centre of Nazran, an improvised explosive device (IED) was triggered. The blast injured three people; one of them is in critical condition, said the Ingush Central Republic's Clinical Hospital.

The condition of the two other patients is assessed by doctors as moderate; the third one is in critical condition; and doctors are fighting for his life, the ITAR-TASS reports.

The explosion took place at the door of the store "Maria", which sold alcohol. The power of the IED, according to preliminary data of the MIA was 2 kg of TNT (trotyl) equivalent.

The store "Maria" had been closed for a long time. On Sunday and today its hostess came to pick up her things. When she opened the door of the store, some unidentified persons came in with a bag. At that moment it went off," said a source from the republic's law enforcement bodies.

The police do not rule out that those visitors brought the IED with them. Two of them have been identified, the Radio Liberty reports.
