Moscow City Court cancels custody of Vladimir Zhamborov, a KBR official
The Judicial Board of the Moscow City Court has cancelled the decision of the Tver District Court about putting Vladimir Zhamborov, accused of a major theft of state property at the sale of the Philharmonic Hall in Nalchik, behind bars, the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent reports from the courtroom. The case was sent for a new consideration.
The issue of Vladimir Zhamborov's custody will be reconsidered on September 3, 2012, by a new composition of the Tver District Court of Moscow. To date, Vladimir Zhamborov remains in detention, said his advocate Andrei Surov.
Zamira Zhamborova, the detainee's daughter, believes that the advocates' appeal to the ECtHR has contributed to satisfaction of the defence's complaint.
