Students in Moscow honoured the memory of victims of terror in Beslan
On September, 3, a meeting was held in Moscow near the Russian State University (RSU) of Oil and Gas named after Gubkin under the slogan "We are different but we are all together against terrorism". It was organized by the management of RSU with the support of Moscow Government and Union of students' communities and timed to the Day of solidarity in the struggle against international terrorism and Day of memory of victims of the tragedy in Beslan.
The organizers explained that besides the students of RSU, students of Moscow State University, Moscow State Technical University named after Bauman, Moscow Aviation Institute, Moscow Institute of Steel and Alloys, the Peoples' Friendship University of Russia and Russian State Social University participated in the action.
Andrey Larionov, Head of Public relations department of RSU, told the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent that the goal of the action was to demonstrate unity of the students who arrived from all the Russian regions in rejection of terrorism.
In memory of the victims of terror in Beslan activists of the Union of students' communities launched 334 balloons into the air.
