Action "Blogger Against Garbage" in Volgograd involved more than 100 activists

Today in Volgograd the all-Russian action "Blogger Against Garbage" has brought together from 100 to 150 people, who cleaned the beach near the Museum-Reserve "Stalingrad Battle", said Ruslan Alekseev, one of the participants of the action and an activist of the movement "For Fair Elections".

The action of cleaning the beach involved not only bloggers but just active young people. They noted poor interaction with municipal services. In order to organize loading of garbage, they had to involve city bureaucrats.

According to Ruslan Alekseev, next week Volgograd bloggers will meet city deputy mayor Andrei Gorbunov on the issue of city improvement.

Let us note here that the all-Russian campaign "Blogger Against Garbage" was held today in 60 regions of Russia and CIS countries. According to preliminary data, the actions were attended by about 30,000 people.
