Russian MoD denies its involvement in bombings in territory of school in Buinaksk

Today, the Ministry of Defence (MoD) announced that military men were not involved in two explosions, which occurred in the territory of the boarding school in Buinaksk.

Let us remind you that in the night, two shells got and exploded in the territory of the boarding school in the Buinaksk District of Dagestan. No one suffered. As a result of two explosions, windows of three floors of the dormitory building of the boarding school were shattered. According to a source in the district law enforcement agencies, the shells fell on the school territory during a military exercise.

The Department of the Press Service and Information of the MoD denies the information.

"Today, units of Russian MoD conducted no night shootings at the military exercise ground of the motorized rifle unit of the Southern Military District, deployed near the dwelling settlement of Buinaksk in Dagestan," the "ITAR-TASS" quotes a representative of the Press Service and Information of the Russian MoD as saying.

In accordance with the decision of the Commander of the Southern Military District, a commission was established on the fact of the incident at the boarding school of Buinaksk. At present, the members of the commission together with the Military Prosecutor's Office try to find out all the circumstances of the incident, including the origin of the weapons found, the "Interfax" reports.
