Armenian capital holds march in memory of Gurgen Margaryan

On September 26, Yerevan hosted a rally, dedicated to the birthday of Gurgen Margaryan, who was murdered in Hungary by Azerbaijani officer Ramil Safarov.

The march was started at the entrance of "Yerablur", the pantheon to soldiers of the Karabakh war, then, it approached the church, located at the main entrance to the pantheon, and ended at the grave of Gurgen Margaryan. The march was organized by the public organizations "Association of Youth of Yerevan State University" and "Gurgen Margaryan."

The action was also attended by family members and friends of Gurgen Margaryan, teachers and schoolchildren of the Yerevan school No. 94, named after him, representatives of the Armenian Ministry of Defence (MoD), about 50 young members of the youth organization "Young Erkrapas" (in Armenian, erkrapa is a defender of the region, note of the "Caucasian Knot"), dressed in a military uniform, many of whom were carrying national flags of Armenia.

The participants of the march were carrying posters reading: "Fight, if You Want to Live", "Azerbaijan Slaps International Community!", "Safarov is Villain!", "To Lie Means to Cease to Be Human Being!" Among the numerous posters, there was a poster with an inscription "Do not Sleep!" and a picture of an axe.

The action was attended by about 1000 persons.
