Actions of protest against kidnapping in Ingushetia are going on in Moscow

Residents of Ingushetia are holding single-person pickets near the buildings of the Government and State Duma of Russia expressing protest against non-judicial executions and kidnapping of people in the republic, the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent reports.

The action started at 13:00 Moscow time. The picketers are standing distantly from one another holding posters: "Ingushetia is not a firing range. We are tired of jackboots", "Members of the top brass turn a blind eye to corruption among the authorities of Ingushetia, the authorities of Ingushetia turn a blind eye to non-judicial executions". 21 persons are participating in the action.

The picketers who came to Moscow are people whose sons, daughters and husbands were kidnapped or killed, one of the picketers, Sultan-Girey Khashagulgov (brother of Issa Khashagulgov who was detained on September, 25, 2010, for suspicion of organizing the act of terror in Vladikavkaz market. Issa Khashagulgov himself denies his guilt - note by the "Caucasian Knot"), told the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent.

"In particular, three Salman Ugurchiev's sons disappeared. Five members of Gazdanov's family disappeared, either. It is an undisguised genocide of the Ingush people", he said.

According to Khashagulgov, "the people came here having lost hope for local authorities' response". "We want to draw attention of the Government and community of Russia to what really is happening in Ingushetia", the participant of the action said.
