Management of a road-building company in Kabardino-Balkaria suspected of corruption

Chief engineer of "Road-building department No 1" limited company Alexey Kim and Director General Vladimir Gashtov are suspected of misappropriation of over 9 million rubles budget funds.

According to the investigation, over 133 million rubles were allotted within the framework of realization of the program "Russian South 2008 - 2012" from federal budget and budget of Kabardino-Balkaria.

The money allotted from federal budget was meant for constriction of Kislovodsk - Dolina Narzanov - Djily Su-Elbrus highway and reconstruction of Kislovodsk - Dolina Narzanov - Elbrus road. The investigators suppose that Kim and Gashtov misappropriated over 9 million rubles budget funds using construction materials not provided for by State Standard and charging up the costs of construction and reconstruction of the roads.

Indictment concerning Kim sanctioned by Deputy Prosecutor General Ivan Sydoruk was referred to Nalchik city court. Alexey Kim is accused of swindling committed by a group of persons by previous concert with the use of his official position.

A criminal case against Vladimir Gashtov was separated from other charges, web-site of Prosecutor General's of the Russian Federation reports.

Press Service of Nalchik city court informed that a civil action of exaction of over 9 million 139 thousand rubles was submitted concurrently by Public prosecutor, "North-Caucasian news" reports.
