In Derbent, explosion occurs near synagogue, nobody hurt

Last night, an explosion occurred near a synagogue in Derbent, no one suffered. This was reported by a source in the law enforcement agencies of Dagestan.

According to him, at about midnight, an explosive device of moderate power detonated at No. 9 in Taghi-Zadeh Street, near the synagogue building near the basement; however, shammas reported on the incident only in the morning.

As a results of the explosion, the windows in the synagogue had been shattered, and the investigation into the circumstances of the incident is underway, the "Interfax" reports. The agency notes that till present, no official comments of the law enforcement authorities on the incident are available.

The website of the Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA) of Dagestan also did not publish any information about the explosion.
