Refugees seize the building of the former industrial college in Tbilisi

About 50 refugee families moved into an empty building of the former industrial college in the capital of Georgia, stating that they have nowhere to live.

The "occupants" of the building are the internally displaced persons (IDPs) from Abkhazia and South Ossetia. Some of them managed to get into the house through the window, and then forced the securities to open the door, the "Georgia Online" reports.

The "invaders" were already talked to by officials from the Ministry for Refugees and Accommodation, who insist that the building belongs to a private person, and the invasion was illegal, the "PIK" TV Channel reports.

Activists of the parties "Free Georgia" and "Civil Movement of Refugees" turned to the coalition "Georgian Dream", the winner at the recent Georgian parliamentary elections, and called them to immediately solve the IDPs' housing problem.
