Bidzina Ivanishvili offers Armaz Akhvlediani position of Chair of Adzharia's Government

Bidzina Ivanishvili, the leader of the coalition "Georgian Dream", which won the parliamentary elections in Georgia, offered the position of the Chair of the Adzharia's Government to Armaz Akhvlediani, Doctor of Political Sciences.

The candidate for the position of the Chair of the Adzharia's Government stated that on October 23, he accepted the offer of Bidzina Ivanishvili. "I gave my consent. And the final decision on the issue will announced by Bidzina Ivanishvili himself," Armaz Akhvlediani said.

In his turn, Bidzina Ivanishvili confirmed in his conversation with journalists that he offered Armaz Akhvlediani the above position. As far as the final decision is concerned, then, according to him, it is still not made.

"Consultations are underway. We had a conversation, including with Akhvlediani. No decision has been made yet," the IA "News-Georgia" quotes Bidzina Ivanishvili as saying.

The 42-year-old Armaz Akhvlediani was a member of two convocations of the Georgian Parliament. He is the founder and director of the "School of Political Doctrines", the "Georgia Online" reports.
