Dagestani resident reports on disappearance of her husband Abdulnasyr Ramazanov

Inara Ramazanova, a resident of the village of Chernyaevka of the Kizlyar District of Dagestan, tries to reveal whereabouts of her husband Abdulnasyr Ramazanov, who earlier claimed being persecuted by staff members of the OVD (Interior District) of the Kizlyar District.

On October 18, Abdulnasyr Ramazanov complained that he was being persecuted by staff members of the OVD of the Kizlyar District, led by the head of the criminal police. In their turn, officials from the press service of the Dagestani Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA) reported that the MIA's staff members conduct planned work to control Ramazanov, since his brother became a member of illegal armed formation (IAF).

According to Inara Ramazanova, in the morning of October 24, Abdulnasyr Ramazanov left his home and stopped answering calls on his mobile phone.

"Later, our acquaintances reported that unidentified armed men forced my husband to leave a fixed-route taxi, in which he was travelling, and they forced Abdulnasyr in a silver car and then drove him away to some unknown destination," the woman said.

Inara Ramazanova has also reported that her husband is a strict practicing Muslim, that he does not work because of his health state and that he has a status of invalid because of his illness. There are three minor children in their family.
