Imam Kalimulla Ibragimov, his brother and father buried in Dagestan

This morning, in Derbent, Kalimulla Ibragimov, the imam of the local mosque, his father and brother were shot dead by unidentified persons, when they were going to the mosque for the morning prayer. In Derbent, their funerals were held.

The funeral of the killed men is been reported on the page "Construction of Mosque Ahlus-Sunnah in Derbent" in the network "Facebook", which also presented a photo from the funeral.

Kalimulla Ibragimov was the Imam of the Salafi mosque. This was earlier reported by a reader of the "Caucasian Knot", who used the SMS-service of the edition.

Meanwhile, according to the investigators, Kalimulla Ibragimov did not occupy the official position of the imam. "Officially, he was registered as imam and mullah, and he was just a regular believer," said a representative of the Department of the Investigatory Committee in Dagestan, the RIA "Novosti" reports.

Till present, the investigators do not voice any versions of the murder. In their turn, local residents associate the murder of Kalimulla Ibragimov with his religious activities.
