Remains of missing Zurab Agiev found in Ingushetia

On October 26, on the outskirts of the village of Ali-Yurt, the remains of Zurab Agiev, a resident of the village of Plievo of the Nazran District, who disappeared on October 18 together with Orts Almurziev, were found.

The remains of Zurab Agiev were found in the forest area in the same place, where the remains of the body of Orts Almurziev were found. This was reported by the message of the Human Rights Centre "Memorial", received by the "Caucasian Knot".

After identification, the remains of the bodies were given out to the relatives for burial.

According to Lisa Malsagova, the wife of Orts Almurziev, on October 18, Orts and his acquaintance Zurab Agiev left home on business, and they were to return at about 05:00 p.m. Their relatives found out that at that time, the car of the men was stopped by unidentified armed men in masks and camouflage. They forced Orts Almurziev and Zurab Agiev out of their car, put them their car and drove away to some unknown destination. The relatives of the men appealed to the police; however, there, they were not reported on the whereabouts of the disappeared men.

In the evening, power agents conducted a search at the house of Zurab Agiev, without presenting documents or explaining the reasons for the search. According to Lisa Malsagova, nothing illegal was found in the house.
