Five hunger-strikers in Ingushetia arrested for 15 days

Magistrate court of the Central District of Nazran left five participants of the hunger strike, organized by supporters of the regional public movement "Mekhk-Kkhel", under administrative arrest for 15 days for disobeying the police. This was reported by Idris Abadiev, the leader of the organization.

According Idris Abadiev, on October 31, the court found Sultan-Girei Khashagulgov, Tamerlan and Musa Abadiev, Musa Albogachiev and Serazhdin Sultygov guilty of committing an administrative offence under Article "disobedience to order of police officers".

"After all five defendants were questioned, witnesses also gave testimonies, and none of them confirmed that the detainees rendered resistance to OMON (riot police) fighters," Idris Abadiev said.

According to him, all five defendants of the case, including Musa Abadiev, who got serious head injury, continue the hunger strike.
