Workers of "Georgian Manganese" stops their strike

In western Georgia, miners of the Company "Georgian Manganese" stopped their strike after a promise of Prime Minister Bidzina Ivanishvili to consult with their employers.

On November 5, the miners on strike stated that they would not stop their protest action, till Bidzina Ivanishvili, Prime Minister of Georgia, answers the letter, handed in to him on November 1, the "Novosti-Georgia" reports.

According to Giya Zhorzholiani, a representative of the parliamentary majority, he has already informed the workers of the Company "Georgian Manganese" on the statement of Bidzina Ivanishvili, Prime Minister of Georgia.

According to the MP, the Prime Minister promised that the government and the leaders of the Company would hold intensive consultations and the demands of the miners and workers would be fulfilled within two months, the "NEWS.am" reports with reference to the "Maestro" TV Channel.
