In Sochi, mass fight occurs at Olympic construction
In Sochi, about 240 persons were detained by police on suspicion of involvement in a mass fight at the sports and tourist complex "Mountain Carousel" in Krasnaya Polyana.
On November 5, the fight occurred on domestic ground as a result of the conflict between builders of the Olympic facilities. According to the local residents, the conflict was caused by dirty socks in a cabin.
The fight involved natives of Tajikistan. The place of the incident was approached by squads of the patrol-and-post service, OMON (riot police), and the Migration Service.
Today, at 12:30 a.m., 238 persons under police were brought on three buses to the Adler Magistrate Court. At present, the Court continues working in emergency mode. The cases against suspected participants of the fight were distributed between five judges, the "BlogSochi" reports.
Five participants of the fight have already been sentenced to 10 days for "disobeying a lawful order of a police officer", and the others were detained for a day, the "Interfax" reports.
