At trial on torture in Ingush MIA Ilyas Nalgiev found guilty in another episode

Today, the Karabulak Court continued sentencing in the case against Nazir Guliev and Ilyas Nalgiev, former staff members of the Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA) of Ingushetia, accused of torturing detainees. The Court found Ilyas Nalgiev guilty in one of the episodes of the case.

Ilyas Nalgiev, ex-Chief of the criminal police of Karabulak, and Nazir Guliev, ex-Chief of the Karabulak OVD (Interior Division), are the figurants of the case on tortures, used against Zelimkhan Chitigov. According to Zelimkhan Chitigov, he had to leave Russia because of threats from the defendants. On October 29, the Court started sentencing.

The court session, held on October 30, ruled that in the episode with Zelimkhan Chitigov, the guilt of Ilyas Nalgiev was completely proved. At the court session, held on November 2, the Court found the defendant guilty in "the episode with Paragulgov and Gorchkhanov", the victims in the case.

Today, the Court found Ilyas Nalgiev guilty in the so called "episode with KAMAZ" (according to prosecutors, the truck with tank of oil was detained by the defendants to extort money, note of the "Caucasian Knot").
