In Sochi, contractors dismiss workers from Central Asia involved in fight

In Sochi, the leaders of the contracting organizations decided to terminate the contracts with workers from Central Asia, who participated in the conflict that occurred on November 5 in the vicinities of Krasnaya Polyana.

"At the meeting, the leaders of the contracting organizations decided to terminate the contracts with the participants of the conflict and to transport them to their places of residence," reports the statement, which was posted today on the official website of the Sochi UVD (Interior Department).

According to updated information, 243 participants of the fight were brought to the police station of Krasnaya Polyana. Of these, 210 persons are citizens of Uzbekistan, and 33 are citizens of the Republic of Tajikistan.

Instigators and participants in the conflict have been identified, a criminal case was instituted against five persons under Article "hooliganism with use of a weapon", and the others were brought to administrative responsibility, the "Interfax" reports.
