Speaker of Ingush Parliament promises to resolve housing problems of hunger-striking father
In Ingushetia, Mukharbek Didigov, Speaker of the Parliament, has promised to resolve the housing problem of Azamat Archakov, the father of many children, residing in a former workshop of the canning factory located in the village of Ali-Yurt of the Nazran District. The promise to build a house for the local resident was made after Azamat Archakov went on hunger strike in protest. This was told to the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent by Azamat Archakov himself.
During the conversation with Mukharbek Didigov, Speaker of the Parliament of the Republic of Ingushetia, Azamat Archakov was promised that by this December, a house would be built for him and his family members on a land plot allocated in the village of Ali-Yurt. "All problems have been resolved, and the incident is over," the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent was told by the Speaker of the Parliament.
Azamat Archakov himself has said that he "listens to those verbal promises of the top-ranking officials not the first year." "Mukharbek Didigov has promised me that on Sunday, they will begin to build a house for my family. However, those statements are not backed up by any contracts. The elections will be held, and officials will forget about my family. Therefore, I have decided not to stop my hunger strike until all promised by the Speaker are supported by documents," Azamat Archakov has said.
