Arthur Dolsaev denies his involvement in shelling of car of Secretary of Ingush Security Council, law enforcer reports
Arthur Dolsaev, a resident of Chechnya, suspected of involvement in the assassination of Akhmed Kotiev, Secretary of the Security Council of Ingushetia, states that he was watching Akhmed Kotiev. However, he denies his direct involvement in the assassination. This was stated by a source at the law enforcement bodies of Chechnya.
On September 3, Arthur Dolsaev was detained in Grozny. According to the investigators' information, he reported the names of all persons involved in the assassination of Akhmed Kotiev and his driver committed on August 27.
Today, the source at the law enforcement bodies of Chechnya has clarified that Arthur Dolsaev does in fact admit that he was watching Akhmed Kotiev and reporting his movement to militants.
"The duties of Arthur Dolsaev included surveillance of the Akhmed Kotiev's car, and he was watching it for several days," the "Caucasian Knot" was told by the source at the law enforcement bodies of Chechnya.
However, the suspect claims that directly on August 27, when the car of Secretary of the Ingush Security Council drove by the village of Nizhnie Achaluki of the Malgobek District, he reported that to the members of the grouping led by Arthur Getagazhev and immediately left Ingushetia.
