Another alleged militant killed in special operation in KBR
As reported by the spokesman of the Investigating Department for Kabardino-Balkarian Republic (KBR) of the Investigating Committee of the Russian Federation (ICRF), in the city of Nartkala, Urvan District of the KBR, the militant was shot dead, who managed to run away on September 5 from the base of the members of the "Urvan grouping" of militants in the vicinity of the village of Kakhun.
The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on September 5, in the area of the villages of Kakhun, Stary Cherek and Nizhni Cherek the counterterrorist operation (CTO) regime was introduced. According to law enforcers, members of the "Urvan grouping" were found there – when offered to surrender, they opened fire. Two of them were killed in a shootout; one of whom was identified as the grouping leader Ruslan Makoev.
In total, as reported by power agents, three members of the grouping were found in the bandits' base – one of them managed to escape, although he was wounded. According to investigators, he was later found near the hospital in Nartkala. He was offered to surrender, but he began shooting and was killed by return fire. His personality is now being established.
