In Volgograd, mother of many children stops hunger strike
Elena Samoshina, a mother of many children from Volgograd, has stopped her hunger strike after the proposal received by staff members of the reception room of Vladimir Putin to come to Moscow to present her demands to the reception office of the Russian President.
The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on September 6, parents of several large families of the Volgograd Region went on a hunger strike, demanding to solve their social problems. Mothers tried to enter the government building to meet Governor Sergey Bozhenov. Nationalists and members of the "Yabloko" Party came to support the protestors. During the protest action, 10 persons were detained in front of the building of the regional government.
According to the story of Elena Samoshina, a participant of the hunger strike, on the day of the protest action, she received a call from the reception of Vladimir Putin in Moscow and she was proposed to come to Moscow. "They persuaded us to stop our hunger strike and not to harm our health state. Using Yandex purse, they remitted the money to purchase our travel to Moscow," Elena Samoshina told the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent. She has added that she is going to travel to Moscow together with Nikolai Shamaev, one more participant of the protest action.
