After reviewing programmes of all three candidates, MPs elect Yunus-Bek Evkurov leader of Ingushetia
Prior to the voting at the Parliament of Ingushetia, during which Yunus-Bek Evkurov was elected the leader of the republic, all candidates had presented their programmes. The MPs emphasize that all programmes were constructive and described the same acute problems. Akhmed Belkhoroev, an MP from the "Pravoe Delo" (Right Cause) Party, notes that the result of the voting could be predicted, since most of his colleagues are from the "Edinaya Rossiya" (United Russia) Party.
The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that today, by a majority of vote, members of the National Assembly of Ingushetia have elected Yunus-Bek Evkurov the leader of the republic. 27 MPs took part in the secret voting: 25 of them voted for Yunus-Bek Evkurov, and two MPS voted for Uruskhan Evloev, the candidate of the "Spravedlivaya Rossiya" (Fair Russia) Party. Today, Yunus-Bek Evkurov took the oath and assumed his duties as the leader of Ingushetia.
The programme of Yunus-Bek Evkurov was the most interesting one. This was stated by Maryam Amrieva, a member of the Ingush Parliament, a member of the "Edinaya Rossiya" Party.
"The tasks specified were the same: social and economic development of the republic, construction of facilities for social and cultural purposes that represents a serious problem for the republic, and, of course, problems of stability," Maryam Amrieva, an MP, told the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent.
Besides, according to her version, in their programmes, all three candidates mentioned the problem of corruption in the republic. In addressing the problem, the candidate for the position of the leader of Ingushetia looks to for help of federal bodies.
