Dagestan: relatives of Akbar Murtazaliev report his illegal detention

Today in Dagestan, power agents detained Akbar Murtazaliev, born in 1992, a resident of the village of Shamkhal. His relatives have informed the Dagestan Regional Public Organization (DRPO) "Pravozaschita" (Advocacy) about the detention. They contacted the DRPO by phone.

"According to the relatives, the house of Akbar Murtazaliev was searched without presenting any documents. Nothing illegal was found in the house. Then, Murtazaliev was taken away in the direction of the city, without informing the reason for detention," a source from the DRPO told the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent.

According to the source, Akbar Murtazaliev's mother followed her son in a car and saw that he was brought into the Kirov ROVD (District Interior Division) of Makhachkala. Now, relatives cannot establish his whereabouts.

The on duty officer of the Kirov ROVD said that Murtazaliev is not among the detainees kept there.
