Health condition of Azamat Archakov, endless hunger-striker in Ingushetia has worsened
The health status Azamat Archakov, a father of many children, who began his endless hunger strike on September 3 in Ingushetia, has deteriorated. According to his story, he feels weak, but he will continue his protest, because state officials fail to fulfil their promises.
Let us remind you that Archakov began his hunger strike on September 3 demanding housing for his family. According to his story, he decided to go on hunger strike hoping to draw the attention of Ingush officials to his plight. On September 4, Mukharbek Didigov, the Speaker of the Parliament of Ingushetia, promised to solve his housing problem.
According to Archakov, officials asked him "not to contact reporters al least prior to the election." "They agreed with me that my family lives in an unsuitable facility and assured me that on the following day my daughter – Category I invalid – would receive the necessary medicines. The girl has diabetes – she is insulin-dependent. They promised that on September 8 they would bring building materials for starting a house to my family's land plot," said Archakov.
"Now I understand that the election is over; and nobody cares any longer about the problems of my family and my sick daughter," he added.
So far, no comments have been made by the officials about the situation; however, earlier the Speaker Didigov had asserted that this was an ordinary domestic conflict.
