Makhachkala court rules to put Arslan Durushev behind bars
Today, the Lenin District Court of Makhachkala has chosen the freedom restriction measure for Arslan Durushev, a local resident, in the form of an eight-say detention, his wife said.
The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on September 7 power agents conducted a search of an apartment in the Reduktorny township of Makhachkala. According to a local resident Fatima Kadieva, during the search a bag with an explosive device was planted into her flat. After the search, her husband Arslan Durushev, born in 1981, was taken away by power agents to some unknown place; and until the evening on September 7 his relatives could not define his whereabouts.
During the today's court session, it became known that Arslan Durushev was detained on suspicion of involvement in the explosion in the "Tiflis" Restaurant on July 19 this year, as Fatima Kadieva told the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent. According to her version, no reasons in favour of Durushev's involvement in the above crime were announced. In this regard, the judge gave eight days to the investigating authorities either to prove Durushev's involvement or to release him.
Let us remind you that on July 19, an explosion occurred in the "Tiflis" Restaurant. Nobody was hurt; and the main version is that the explosion was triggered by some members of illegal armed formations (IAFs).
