In Volgograd, more than 1000 signatures collected in support of demand to cancel election outcomes
On September 15, a rally was held as a part of a continuing campaign. The rally was attended by about 50 persons, and about 1000 signatures were collected to cancel the election outcomes. This was reported by the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent.
Let us remind you that on September 8, in the Volgograd Region, 220 election campaigns were completed. On September 9, representatives of five parties demanded to dismiss Governor Sergey Bozhenov and recognize invalid the elections to the Volgograd City Duma. On September 10, representatives of the Regional Committee of the Communist Party of the Russian Federation (CPRF) started an indefinite protest action in the square in front of the regional government.
Speakers talked about the falsifications that took place during the recent elections.
Shamil Salimov, a candidate for deputy of the Volgograd City Duma, said that at voting held at the medical institutions, half of hospital patients did not have passports. "However, clinical records contain passport details, and they were safely put on the protocol," he has noted. And he continued: "I could not understand the amazing transformation of the numbers of voters who casted their votes for 'Medvedev's supporters'. However, now I get it: everything is solved at the territorial election commissions (TECs). There, they put the desired numbers. We have the only one way to go to court, since only prosecutors and judges are allowed to examine the documents of election commissions."
