Putin orders Kozak to report about construction of Olympic facilities every two weeks
After his visit to Sochi, Russian President Vladimir Putin criticized the service at the airport, promised to conduct more inspections of the Olympic facilities, and asked the Vice-Premier Dmitry Kozak to report on the construction progress every two weeks.
Five months are left till the Games, Putin reminded at the sitting held in Sochi, recognizing the presence of drawbacks and delays of deadlines, the RBC reports.
President promised to visit Sochi more often and demanded from Vice-Premier Dmitry Kozak to report on the progress of Olympic construction every two weeks.
Mr Putin also demanded to establish tough state control over the quality of servicing passengers. "There are complaints from passengers on the quality of services," he said.
According to Dmitry Chernyshenko, the Chairman of the Organizing Committee of Sochi Olympic Games, his Committee is aware of the problems with reception of passengers.
The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that in September the airport in Sochi was flooded after the heavy rains. Passengers and those who came to meet them complained of garbage, filth and poor equipment of the airport.
