In Dagestan, three residents of Manas village detained on suspicion of aiding and abetting militants
Musaev, Aliev, and Abakarov, residents of Dagestan, whose kidnapping was claimed by their relatives, were detained on suspicion of aiding and abetting members of illegal armed formations (IAFs).
The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on September 10, relatives lost contact with Saidpasha Musaev and Magaram Aliev, who in the morning left the village of Manas of the Karabudakhkent District. Their relatives suggested that Musaev and Aliev could become victims of kidnapping.
On September 12, in the Karabudakhkent District, according to eyewitnesses' story, law enforcers detained Magomedali Abakarov, a local resident, and brought him away to some unknown destination. The detainee's relatives appealed to human rights defenders to locate his whereabouts, since officials from the police station did not confirm the fact of detention.
At present, the whereabouts of all three residents of the village of Manas are revealed. This was told to the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent by Mui Abdulaeva, the wife of Saidpasha Musaev. "We were told that Musaev, Aliev and Abakarov were detained and that on September 17, the pre-trial restriction measure would be pronounced to them," Mui Abdulaeva has said.
