FSB: suicide bombing in Chechnya organized by Doku Umarov
The terror act committed in the Sunzha District of Chechnya was organized by Doku Umarov. This was reported by Andrei Serezhnikov, Chief of the Russian FSB Department for Chechnya.
The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on September 16, in Chechnya, a suicide bomber committed a terror act near the building of the Sunzha ROVD (District Interior Division). As a result, according to the information of the National Antiterrorist Committee (NAC), three policemen were killed and four other policemen were wounded.
The explosion that occurred on September 16 near the building of the Sunzha ROVD of Chechnya became the first suicide bombing act in Chechnya after the suicide bombing committed by two persons on August 6, 2012, in Grozny, and, according to the calculations of the "Caucasian Knot", the 41st since 2000.
On September 16, during the meeting with Ramzan Kadyrov, the leader of Chechnya, Andrei Serezhnikov commented on the terror act and said that "all that was organized by leaders of the armed underground represented by Doku Umarov."
"The operation is over. Except for casualties, it would be possible to talk about its success. All that is organized by leaders of the armed underground represented by Doku Umarov and a number of field commanders who are hiding in the vicinity of the administrative border with Ingushetia," the RIA "Novosti" quotes Andrei Serezhnikov as saying.
