Members of the opposition claim violations have been committed during the voting at the elections of heads of cities and regions in Dagestan and North Ossetia held on September 8.
In Dagestan, representatives of the Communist Party of the Russian Federation (CPRF), in particular, appealed to Ramazan Abdulatipov, the leader of the republic, to the Dagestani Election Commission, and the Prosecutor's Office of Dagestan with a complaint about the falsification of elections of deputies to the Derbent City Council.
The complaint demanding to cancel the protocols of the election commissions with the outcomes of voting was filed to the court by Sedredin Kanberov, a candidate for the position of the head of the village of Miskindja of the Dokuzpara District. The candidate has claimed that the elections were held with gross and massive violations of the laws in action.
In North Ossetia, on the united day of voting, several incidents were recorded. According to the information of the Central Election Commission (CEC), at one of the electoral precincts, supporters of the "Edinaya Rossiya" (United Russia) Party and the "Patrioty Rossii" (Patriots of Russia) Party tried to start a fight "in an attempt to throw in a pack of ballots to a ballot box."
