In Volgograd, Communists send over 50 kilos of small coins to Governor Bozhenov
Volgograd Communists have mailed more than 50 kilograms of small coins to the regional governor, which were collected during the campaign "Give your last kopeck to Bozhenov!"
The campaign under this motto against the Governor's policies was launched in the Volgograd Region on February 15 and lasted till February 22, ending with a rally in Volgograd, where two thousand signatures were collected for the governor's resignation. There, activists also gathered small coins to send them to the head of the region Sergey Bozhenov "to replenish the scanty budgets of Volgograd and Volgograd Region."
The money was sent to the governor on March 5 in four small boxes, Ekaterina Pechonova, the head of the press service of the Stalingrad Regional Committee of the Communist Party of the Russian Federation (CPRF), told the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent.
On February 22, Communists made an attempt to convey the collected coins to the governor, but they were not let to the government because of the weekend, so it was decided to send them by mail.
