KBR dismisses school principal where 76 children got poisoned
Khusen Kazhokov, the principal of the secondary school of the village of Nizhny Cherek of the Urvan District of the KBR, where in February, 76 children got poisoned, was dismissed. This was reported by the press service of the KBR's Ministry of Education and Sciences.
At present, the acting head of the educational institution (EI) is Lyudmila Temrokova. Earlier, she worked as the deputy of Khusen Kazhokov on educational work.
Srazhudin Zhemukhov, the head of the Education Department of the Urvan District has clarified that since the lessons had been forcedly interrupted, pupils will continue their studies during spring vacations. This was reported in the press release of the KBR's Ministry of Education and Sciences.
At present, all children, who receive medical treatment in Zheleznovodsk, feel satisfactory. This was told by a source from the "Salute" Sanatorium to the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent.
According to Zelimkhan Arapiev, a member of the Moscow Advocates' Chamber "Your Advisor", parents have every right to demand from the educational institution to compensate harm caused to children's health and costs for medical treatment. Besides, parents have a right to file claims for compensation for moral damage.
