Observers from Southern Russia find no violations during referendum in Crimea

The referendum on the Autonomous Republic of Crimea's reunification with Russia as a subject of the federation was held without violations. This was reported by observers from the Stavropol and Krasnodar Territories.

Observers from the Krasnodar Territory have visited dozens of electoral precincts, and at all of them, voting has been organized correctly, without any violations. This was reported by Nikolai Petropavlovsky, a leader of the observer team, following the referendum results. According to him, since at all electoral precincts, the turnout exceeded 50%, it is clear that the question of the legitimacy of the referendum dropped by itself, the "Interfax" reports.

For the week, the preparations for the referendum were followed by a group of deputies from the Stavropol Territory, although they had no formal status of observers. After the voting, the mission of the Stavropol deputies has been completed. They recognized the referendum in Crimea as open and honest. This was reported by the STRC (State TV and Radio Company) "Stavropolye" with reference to Viktor Lozovoi, Deputy Chairman of the Regional Duma.
