"EcoWatch": Evgeny Vitishko complains to Russian Ombudsman about violation of his rights during convoying
Evgeny Vitishko, an activist of the "Ecological Watch for Northern Caucasus", has sent to the Russian Ombudsman a complaint about the fact that his rights were violated while he was convoyed to the settlement-colony. Evgeny Vitishko is at the settlement-colony in the Tambov Region, and on March 17, he met human rights defenders.
Evgeny Vitishko has told the human rights defenders that on the way from Krasnodar to the Tambov Region, he was held at the convoy-transit points in Volgograd and Voronezh.
"Evgeny has said that in those convoy-transit points, conditions of his detention personally and of the other prisoners were seriously violated. Therefore, he filed a complaint to the Russian Ombudsman," states the release of the ecological organization, received by the "Caucasian Knot" on March 18.
Evgeny Vitishko has no complaints about the conditions of detention in the settlement-colony No. 2. However, the ecologist states that he has difficulties in phoning his family members, the "EcoWatch" reports.
