In Nalchik, residents, who gathered near ICRF to support Lamina Gulieva, fail to meet investigators
On March 19, in Nalchik, twelve persons came to the building of the Investigating Committee to support the Lamina Gulieva's claim to give out her husband's body. After a four-hour wait, they went away with nothing. No official from the Investigating Committee came out to the protesters. According to them, they did not receive a reply to the question whether there were legitimate reasons for refusal to give out the Tengiz Guketlov's body.
Nevertheless, Lamina Gulieva herself does not think the time spent in front of the Investigating Committee was wasted. She managed to make an appointment with Alim Babaev, the deputy head of the Investigating Department (ID) of the Investigating Committee of the Russian Federation (ICRF) for the Kabardino-Balkarian Republic (KBR).
A source from the ID of the ICRF for the KBR told the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent that experts took samples of Tengiz Guketlov's tissue and muscles and sent them to genetic research. The results are to be ready in "a couple of days."
"There is an instruction: the body is to be given out after the completion of the genetic examination. However, it is still too early to say that all will happen in such a way," the source has noted.
