Stavropol Territory: policemen find arsenal in resident of Arzgir District
The press service of the local Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA), on March 25, in the course of a search within a criminal case, policemen found five firearms and ammunition in the house of a 50-year-old resident of the village of Serafimovskoe of the Arzgir District in the Stavropol Territory.
According to a law enforcement source, the search was conducted in the house of a deputy of the rural municipal council within a criminal case opened under the article of "attempted drug trafficking".
The house owner explained that he had been collecting firearms for over 10 years, but he did not report to the police about his hobby.
The confiscated firearms were sent for examination, which will determine their purpose.
