"Doctrine": during first three months of 2014, 27 soldiers perished in Azerbaijan
During the period from January to March 2014, 27 persons who served in the armed forces of Azerbaijan perished. This was stated by the report prepared by the "Doctrine" Journalists' Military Research Centre.
According to the experts from the Research Centre "Doctrine", five persons were killed as a result of violations of the ceasefire on the contact line between Armenian and Azerbaijani forces. 11 other soldiers were included in the list of non-combat losses.
Besides, three soldiers were killed in a car accident, two others died from diseases, and six persons committed suicide. This was reported by the "Zerkalo.az" with reference to the report prepared by the "Doctrine" Journalists' Military Research Centre.
During the period of January-March 2014, 23 soldiers got wounds and various injuries. Of them, 11 persons suffered from hazing activities, 2 persons suffered from suicide attempts, and 2 other persons suffered from gunshot wounds and landmines. According to the report prepared by the "Doctrine" Journalists' Military Research Centre, six soldiers suffered as a result of car accidents.
