In Armenia, Shant Arutyunyan's son charged with disorderly conduct

Shagen Arutyunyan, a son of Shant Arutyunyan, the leader of the "Tsegakron" Party, was charged with disorderly conduct with use of weapon and ammunition. This was reported on April 2 by an official from the Armenian police.

On November 5, 2013, 14-year-old Shagen Arutyunyan together with his father took part in the protest action "Million Mask March", during which protesters clashed with policemen.

The official from the Chief Investigating Department of the Armenian police could not answer the question why Shagen Arutyunyan was charged five months after the protest action of November 5, 2013.

"This issue is in competence of the investigative team, and journalists are not allowed contacting them, since the investigation is underway," the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent was told by the official from the Department for Public Relations and Media of the Armenian police.
